The National Flower of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

The national flower of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰is  the Blue Water Lily 🌸. In Sinhala it is called Nil Manel. This beautiful flower grows in lakes, ponds and other calm water places. It has soft blue or purple petals and a bright yellow center.


The Blue Water Lily is a symbol of purity, truth and peace🕊️ It is an important part of Sri Lankan culture and traditions. People often offer this flower at Buddhist temples. It can also be seen in paintings, decorations, and traditional designs in Sri lanka. Because of its beauty and cultural value, the Blue Water Lily was chosen as the national flower of the country.

A Day Alone in an Abandoned House

 Last Sunday,I spent a day alone in an abandoned house in a lonely village 🏚️.The house was very old and silent. There wwere broken windows and dusty walls. No one had lived there for many years. When I first went inside, I felt a little sacred. The rooms were dark and cold. The doors made strange sounds when the wind belw.l could hear birds and insect outside. The floor was covered with dry leaves. Every small sound made my heart beat faster.
