Nadungamuwa Raja

 Nadungamuwa Raja 🦣 was very famous elephant in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. He was known as a scared temple elephant. Nadungamuwa Raja carried the Scared Tooth Relic casket during the annual Esala Perahera. Because of this important duty, many people in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 respected and loved him very much.


Nadungamuwa Raja was lived in Nadungamuwa village. He was a very large and strong elephant, but he was also calm and gentle. When he travel to Kandy for the perahera, the government gave hime special police protection on the road.


He became a national treasure and a symbol of Sri Lankan culture and Buddhism. Many people were very sad when he died in 2022. After his death (2026), a statue of Nadungamuwa Raja was made and placed in the National Museum to remember him.

A Day Alone in an Abandoned House

 Last Sunday,I spent a day alone in an abandoned house in a lonely village 🏚️.The house was very old and silent. There wwere broken windows and dusty walls. No one had lived there for many years. When I first went inside, I felt a little sacred. The rooms were dark and cold. The doors made strange sounds when the wind belw.l could hear birds and insect outside.
