Kandyan Dance


The Kandyan Dance is  a traditional dance of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. It is also called Udarata Natum. This dance started in the hell of Sri 🇱🇰 . It is very famous and important part of Sri Lankan culture.


Kandyan Dance has beautiful moment and strong steps. Dancers wear colorful costumes and many ornaments. The dancers also wear special head dress called Ves .


Drums are very important in Kandyan Dance. The Geta Beraya drum is mainly used. The sound of the drums helps the dancers to follow the rhythm and perform their steps.


Today Kandyan dance is performed at many festivals and cultural events. It is also shown to tourists. This dance helps to protect and show the rich culture of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰.

A Day Alone in an Abandoned House

 Last Sunday,I spent a day alone in an abandoned house in a lonely village 🏚️.The house was very old and silent. There wwere broken windows and dusty walls. No one had lived there for many years. When I first went inside, I felt a little sacred. The rooms were dark and cold. The doors made strange sounds when the wind belw.l could hear birds and insect outside. The floor was covered with dry leaves. Every small sound made my heart beat faster.
